Detectives from the Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Maribel Galeas, a missing 12-year-old from Silver Spring.
Galeas was last seen on Sunday, December 24, 2023, at approximately 2 a.m., in the 300 block of Northwest Dr., in Silver Spring. She is 4’07, 75 Ibs., with brown hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a pink and brown jacket, grey hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans, black sneakers, and was carrying a leopard skin bag.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Marihel Galeas is asked to call Montgomery County Police Non-Emergency (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line).
