Montgomery County Police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Layhill Rd on Monday afternoon.
According to police, “At approximately 2:34 p.m., 4th District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the intersection of Layhill Road and Bel Pre Road for the report of a two-car collision.
The investigation has revealed that the two vehicles, a Subaru and Tesla, collided at the location.
An adult female driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The adult male driver of the second vehicle was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
