Peter Chang Restaurant is now open at 637 N Frederick Ave in Gaithersburg. The restaurant is located in the space previously occupied by Ichiban Restaurant, which closed in September 2021 after 35 years in business.
Currently the restaurant is only offering carry-out. The dining room is expected to open early next week and a grand opening event is scheduled for April 18. Specialty items on the menu include, Broiled Branzino, Cumin Spicy Lamb Shank, Green Peppercorn Flounder, Loin’s Head Pork Meatballs in Gravy, Golden Pumpkin Broth Beef Belly, and Chongqing Sautéed Bullfrog in Chili Sauce.
Peter Chang opened its Rockville location at 20A Maryland Ave in 2016, and Q by Peter Chang opened at 4500 East-West Hwy in Bethesda in 2017.
