Police Investigating Rockville Pike Second-Degree Assault; Surveillance Video and Photos Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are investigating a second-degree assault that occurred on Saturday, May 11, 2024, in the 11800 block of Rockville Pike in Bethesda.

According to police, thie incident occurred on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 1p.m. in the 11800 block of Rockville Pike. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall, with a medium build, wearing a burnt orange or brown hooded sweatshirt with a spider web design, black pants and carrying a black draw string bag slung over the front side of his body. The suspect punched a male victim in the face and head after an argument and left the scene, running southbound on Old Georgetown Road.
