A pedestrian was struck and killed early this morning near New Hampshire Avenue and Rodney Road in Hillandale.
According to police, “At approximately 4:40 a.m., 3rd District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the area of New Hampshire Avenue and Rodney Road for the report of a pedestrian struck.
The adult male pedestrian was pronounced dead on scene. The adult driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
This is an active and ongoing investigation. A news release will be distributed as more information becomes available. The decedent’s names will be released following proper notification of next of kin.”
