Aaron Seyedian founded Well-Paid Maids in the D.C. area back in 2017.
Inspired by the Fight for $15 minimum wage campaign, he wanted to get involved. For years, he had watched business lobbyists argue that a higher minimum would hurt businesses.
Well-Paid Maids isn’t just a living-wage cleaning company — it’s a smart choice for pet owners.
When we say living wage, that means our cleaners earn at least $24 an hour, and we offer benefits, like insurance, 24 days of paid time off and more. Because we take care of our employees, they take care of you — and even your pets!
Paul Davis Restoration is coordinating a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb that honors the memory of the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001 on behalf of the NFFF (The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation).
Our mission is to honor and remember America’s fallen fire heroes, assist their families in rebuilding their lives, and work to reduce firefighter deaths and injuries.
Labor Day marked the unofficial end of summer. Now, it’s time to lean into the back-to-school season.
For parents, that means getting the kids stocked up on supplies and settled back into a routine. Even if you aren’t attending back-to-school nights, there’s still a sense of freshness in the air. It’s a time to get organized and refocus until the holidays.
Heads up: Well-Paid Maids will be OOO this coming Monday. Labor Day is one of four paid holidays we give our employees. They also get an additional 20 PTO days each year.
Labor Day feels particularly important to us. Taking the day for a little R&R allows us to reflect on our employees’ hard work over the past year and show them some extra appreciation.
Katia joined the Well-Paid Maids team in March, and she’s already received rave reviews!
One Google reviewer wrote: “I used Well-Paid Maids for the first time this month. Katia, our cleaner, was wonderful. This place was sparkling when she left.”
