We are Montgomery County STEM Volunteer Program, a group of retired and working STEM professionals who volunteer our time to go into schools to bring the real world of STEM into the classroom. We are an educational non-profit organization (501c3) that works directly with MCPS to place suitably qualified STEM professionals with teachers in elementary, middle and high schools. We would be interested in getting the word out to your readers to consider joining our program to help teachers and students get a better appreciation of STEM subjects and how they fit into our everyday lives. They would be making a valuable contribution to the next generation of scientists, technology professionals, engineers and mathematicians. For more information about our program, please visit the MCPS STEM Professional Volunteer website – https://sites.google.com/mcpsmd.net/mcps-steam-mentors/mcps-steam-volunteer-program – or contact me for more details:
