$50,000 Winning Scratch-off Sold at Safeway in Gaithersburg

A $50,000 winning Million Dollar Mega Multiplier scratch-off ticket sold at the Safeway at 20211 Goshen Road in Gaithersburg was among last week’s Maryland Lottery jackpot winners in Montgomery County. Other winners included $10,000 winning scratch off tickets sold at B&B Beer and Wine (8403 Snouffer School Road) in Gaithersburg and at Anna’s Deli Plus (11512 Middlebrook Road) in Germantown, and a $25,000 winning Pick 5 ticket at 7-Eleven (12101 Snowden Farm Parkway) in Clarksburg. Addition details below courtesy of the Maryland Lottery:

“Two Maryland Lottery players won life-changing prizes in the past week: Someone bought a Cash4Life ticket in Windsor Mill that won the game’s top prize of $1,000 a day for life, while another player in Elkridge landed a $750,000 Multi-Match jackpot.

The Multi-Match prize was claimed last week, and the Lottery is waiting to greet the winner of the Cash4Life prize. Meanwhile, another five players won $100,000 each on scratch-off tickets sold in Aberdeen, Baltimore, Elkton, Randallstown and Woodlawn.

In all, the seven days ending Feb. 12 produced 40 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more that were redeemed or sold across Maryland, and the Lottery paid more than $30.4 million in prizes during that span.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets up to and including $600. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
