Entrants are asked to write on the following question: History has been made with the United States electing its first ever female Vice President. If you had the opportunity, what advice would you give her? Name three important issues she should consider addressing while in office. Submissions can be intellectual, emotional, funny, spiritual or serious, but please limit them to 500 words or less.

The contest has four categories—elementary school students, middle school students, high school students and adults. Entries will be judged on their use of this year’s theme and creativity.

Submissions are due midnight on Wednesday, March 31.
