A 15-year-old male is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting that occurred last night on the 18800 block of Walkers Choice Road.
According to police, at approximately 6:11 p.m., 6th District officers responded to calls of a shooting and upon arrival officers located a 15-year-old male suffering from a suspected gunshot to his chest. He was transported to an area hospital with serious injury.
Detectives are actively investigating this incident and believe that it is an isolated event.
There is no suspect in custody at this time.
The 15-year-old is a student at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown, according to a report by Bethesda Beat.
