Bethesda is getting a new pizza place. Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza is moving in to the the old Community/One Burger @ Community location at 7776 Norfolk Ave.

The chain started in Florida in 2002 and has since expanded with more than 50 restaurants throughout the northeast. It is owned by Anthony Bruno and backed by NFL Hall of Fame quarterback, Dan Marino.

“I have a simple approach to my menu – use the highest quality ingredients and charge a fair price. It’s not just the big things, or the little things – it’s Everything! Dough made fresh, in-house every day. Imported Italian plum tomatoes. Chicken wings that are never frozen. From the best Grande mozzarella to using only albacore tuna, you get the picture.
That’s the way we do things around here.” says owner, Anthony Bruno.

In addition to pizza Anthony’s will feature oven roasted chicken wings, homemade meatballs made from scratch, and other dishes classified as “Italian Soul Food.”

The Anthony’s opening was reported earlier today by Bethesda Magazine.
