Armed Robbery of Lyft Driver in Germantown

Around 10PM Tuesday, a Lyft Driver was dropping off a passenger along Brandermill Drive near the intersection of Apperson Way in Germantown when their Lyft passenger displayed a handgun and demanded the driver’s cash and phone.

The suspect obtained an undetermined amount of US Currency along with the driver’s white iPhone X and was last seen fleeing the scene on foot on Apperson Place.

Montgomery County Police officers were working with the driver and Lyft corporate offices to attempt to identify the person who requested the ride.

Bethesda Film Fest
