Per a press release by Federal Realty, Bark Social, the first “dog bar” in the Mid-Atlantic region, is coming to Pike & Rose!  According to the plans for Bark Social, there will be a professionally monitored off-leash dog park in addition to a space with a craft beer and coffee bar.  Bark Social will be open year round, as the space will be indoor/outdoor.

Bark Social plans to open in September and will be located at 935 Prose Street, which is adjacent to Rose Park and next to Julii and Jinya.

The venue plans to offer a climate controlled clubhouse with TV and WiFi, a dog treat bar with puppy ice cream and pupsicles, dog wash stations, a puppy boutique and will offer events such as dog yoga, Yappy hours, singles nights, dog birthday parties, and even a Halloween dog costume contest.

They are currently offering a discount for founding members in addition to discounted memberships for Frontline Workers, Active and Retired Veterans, Government Employees and Corporate Discounts.
