Many Taylor Swift fans were left disappointed when the singer announced her upcoming “The Eras Tour” and didn’t include a stop in DC, coming as close as Philadelphia, PA for three shows in May. One fan, Bethesda’s Jose Andres who is considered one of the best chefs in the world, has made Swift a tempting offer to add a DC show to the tour:
.@taylorswift13 Taylor? And @washingtondc please? I’ll cook for you?🙏🥹👨🍳😇 https://t.co/XifaZvYtTs

When Swift announced 8 new stops on her upcoming tour, with DC being left out again, Andrés replied by offering to cook for the popular singer. Swift has previously performed at Fed Ex Field, the home of the Dan Snyder owned Washington Commander, but many feel that the developments surrounding Snyder are what’s keeping Swift away. If that is the case, maybe the recent news of Snyder looking to sell the team will be enough for Swift to take Jose Andrés up on his offer.
Andrés gained fame as the chef at the Washington, D.C., tapas restaurant Jaleo. Locally, Andrés owns Spanish Diner at 7271 Woodmont Avenue in Bethesda (formerly Jaleo) as well as DC restaurants China Chilcano, Jaleo, Oyamel, and Zaytinya.

I get that she doesn’t want to play FedEx field, but how about Nationals Park or Capital One Arena???
