'On Monday the Prince George’s County Council voted 9-0 to extended its current COVID-19 resolution, which includes an indoor mask requirement for everyone two and older, until January 23.
The decision was made in part due to concern over the new omicron coronavirus variant.

Montgomery County’s indoor mask mandate was reinstated on November 9.
