Earlier today the Pentagon was on lock down due to an incident at the Pentagon Transit Center.

According to CNN, a police officer was shot in an incident that took place outside the Pentagon Tuesday morning. The event happened on the bus platform at the Pentagon complex.

At noon, the Pentagon has lifted the lock down and has reopened. They are alerting people that Corridor 2 and the Metro entrance remain closed. Corridor 3 is open for pedestrian traffic.

We will post an update when more information becomes available.
