Boardroom Salon for Men is Coming to MoCo (Montrose Crossing)

Earlier today we asked what our readers what they would like to see in the vacant spot of the eatery row at the front of the Montrose Crossing Shopping Center at 12055 Rockville Pike in Rockville.

The row we’re referring to currently consists of Cava, Honeygrow, Slapfish, the vacant storefront, Five Guys, MOD Pizza, and an AT&T store.

We were informed by our friends over at BoBaPop in the Kentlands that the location was already taken, according to the Federal Realty website.

Boardroom Salon for Men will be coming to town in 2020. Boardroom is a high-end men’s salon that offers more than a typical barber shop– allowing your to schedule haircuts, shaves, spa services and more in a sophisticated and “masculine environment,” according to their website.

Boardroom Salon for Men started in 2004 when Bruce Schultz, and his wife Heather Schultz, originated the idea of luxury men’s salons.

The first salon opened in Southlake, Texas in 2004. They now have over 40 locations, with the Rockville location being the first in Maryland.

Some of the Services Offered:

The Benchmark Haircut: $70

Express Haircut: $55

Buddy Cut (for 12 and under): $45

Three membership options:

Express: $800 per year gives you unlimited express haircuts.

Executive: $1,070 per year gives you unlimited benchmark haircuts.

CEO: $1,500 per year gives you unlimited benchmark haircuts, express shaves, waxing, grey camouflage, and more.

How can I be able to apply here? As a barber/stylist or a receptionist!?

They wont do the due diligence on staff hiring and end up employing people fresh out of school. To jack you up

Maybe I’m wrong, but this seems like someplace that would be more successful in Arlington or 14 Street.

MoCo getting more and more pretentious and privileged by the day, while the whole country is divided and can’t logically agree on right and wrong. My old neighborhood in west Bethesda has become McMansion Town. Give me a $20 haircut any day (well, if you can find a safe one during COVID).
