Montgomery County Alcohol Beverage Services (formerly DLC) will be holding several sets of lotteries for residents and licensees to purchase highly sought after distilled spirits from April 3-9. Lottery entries will be accepted starting at noon on April 3 until 11:59 PM on April 9, according to ABS.
“To more equitably distribute that are in high demand, we have developed a lottery process for our most popular, hard to find spirits products.”

Tips:
- For each lottery you entered, make sure you have the email with your lottery number handy. The lottery you entered is in the subject line.
- Make sure to check your lottery number against the correct lottery results. For example, if you entered the Montgomery County Resident Lottery and your assigned number is 0123, make sure you are checking the winners list for the Montgomery County Resident Lottery and not one of the other two lotteries that ran at the same time.
- If you did not receive an email confirming you are a winner, you either entered your email incorrectly in the submission process or you may be checking the wrong winners list.

ABS Lottery for Montgomery County Residents – Rules
- The lottery runs from April 3rd – April 9th. Lottery entries will be accepted starting at noon on April 3rd until 11:59 PM on April 9th. No entries will be considered valid outside of these times.
- Please select the entry form below and fill it out completely. You will be assigned an Entry ID which will appear at the completion of the form. This information will also be emailed to the e-mail you enter on the form. Although an email is sent as a confirmation, we cannot guarantee receipt so please make note of your entry ID. ABS will not resend the email.
- Winners Posted Online: Monday, April 18, 2022. Visit the lottery numbers page to check if your lottery number has been selected.
- Pickup: April 22 – May 1. Winning entrants will be notified of the location to purchase and pick-up their bottle. Purchase must be completed at the time of pickup. You must be 21 years old and have proof of Montgomery County residency to claim and purchase your bottle.
If you see your number, please keep in mind the following:
- Bottles must be purchased at the location given to winners. All lottery winners must purchase and pick-up their item no later than the close of business on May 1, 2022, no exceptions will be made.
- Anyone that has not purchased their bottle by May 1st will lose their lottery slot/chance to purchase that lottery item.
- You must be 21 years old to qualify for the lottery and to purchase alcohol. You will need to show proof of age, via a valid state or federal issued ID, at the time of purchase.
- If you do not have a valid government-issued, picture ID, or any part of your ID does not match your lottery entry (picture, name, address, zip code, etc.), your bottle will be forfeited. No exceptions.
- There will be no proxy pick up.
- You must be a resident of Montgomery County, Maryland and you must be able to prove residency with a valid driver’s license or other state-issued picture ID. Proof of Montgomery County residency is required. No exceptions.
- Current Active Duty Military ID or Spouse/Dependent ID with proof of Mntgomery County MD address (Utility bill or bank statement only, no exceptions)
- Duplicate entries will be disqualified. More than one entry from the same device will be disqualified.
- In the event of duplicate entries, only the most recent one only will be allowed.
- Each entrant will be allowed to rank their choices, you are guaranteed an equal chance to win one of those items.
- Each entry will only be eligible to win one of their ranked choices in the drawing. In the event that an entrant has multiple winning entries, the “First Choice” will take precedence overall, and the “Second Choice” will take precedence over the “Third Choice”, etc. Only one bottle will be available for purchase in any event, no exceptions.
- P.O. Boxes will not be accepted. Lottery entries with P.O. Boxes will be disqualified.
- Coupons and discounts do not apply to the purchase of lottery items.
