(Located) Concern for Missing Potomac Teenager

Update: Eva Ashrafi has been located safe and unharmed.


Gaithersburg, MD– Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old female from Potomac.

Eva Ashrasi was last seen by family on Thursday, September 30 when she left her residence on Staple Ford Hall Court.

Ashrasi is described as a white female approximately 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs approximately 100 pounds. She has brown eyes and long curly brown hair. She has red braces on her teeth and pierced ears.  Ashrasi may be wearing a red hoodie, black jeans and carrying a gray backpack.

Police and family are concerned for her physical and emotional welfare.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Eva Ashrasi is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000(24-hour line) or the Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5400.
