Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing man from Silver Spring.
On Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at approximately 9 a.m., 66 year-old Derek Antonio Carney was last seen leaving his residence in the 10800 block of Georgia Avenue.
Carney is 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a scar on his nose. It is unknown what clothing Carney was last seen wearing.
Police and family are concerned for his welfare.
