Mi Rancho Burglarized Six Times by Same Suspect; Surveillance Footage Released

Per MCPD: Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are investigating a series of burglaries that occurred at the Mi Rancho restaurant in the 8700 block of Ramsey Ave., in Silver Spring. Detectives have released surveillance video of the suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.

Since July, the same suspect has burglarized the restaurant on six occasions. In each burglary, the suspect jumps over a fence to enter the restaurant and steals property.  Detectives reviewed surveillance cameras and obtained a description of the suspect.

The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5-feet, 9-inches to 6-feet tall and weighs between 140 to 170 pounds, wearing an orange jacket and blue jeans.

A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspect. Callers can remain anonymous.
