Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division are investigating the October 28 armed robbery of a business that occurred in the 10100 block of New Hampshire Ave. in Silver Spring. Detectives have released surveillance video of the two suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
On October 28, at approximately 9:43 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to the location for the report of an armed robbery that just occurred.
The investigation by detectives determined that the victim was working behind the counter when a suspect entered the business and brandished a black handgun; the suspect pointed the handgun at the victim and told her not to move. At that moment, another suspect entered the business, hopped over the counter, removed property from the safe and placed the stolen property inside a bag. Both suspects exited the business and fled the scene.
