Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rdDistrict Investigative Section are investigating two separate burglaries believed to be committed by the same suspect in the Silver Spring area. Investigators are releasing surveillance video of the male suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.
The investigation by detectives has revealed that on December 12, an unknown black male suspect broke into the laundry room of the apartment complex located in the 8700 block of Manchester Road. Once inside the suspect stole property belonging to the residents of the apartment complex and damaged the washing and drying machines.
Detectives determined that on January 5, the same male suspect returned to the apartment complex and again, broke into the laundry room. Once inside, the suspect stole additional property belonging to residents and damaged the washing and drying machines.
