I have the unfortunate need to drive south on Wisconsin to work during rush hours. There is NO police enforcement of the 6:30AM – 930AM no left turn from Wisconsin at the intersections between Woodmont and East-West/Old Georgetown. One car trying to make an illegal left can back up traffic through stoplight cycles. People are ALWAYS making these turns into busy traffic as people behind them are honking horns, flashing lights, flipping bird. Wrecks and near wrecks daily.
Luckily I can come home a different way, though my wife tells me it’s just as miserable northbound during afternoon rush hour. She saw a wreck earlier this week, someone making an illegal left onto Fairmont.
Bethesda traffic always blows, but rush hours are flustercucks
