Eleven MCPS students have been selected for the 2023 National Association for Music Education’s (NAfME’s) All-Eastern Honors Ensembles. The 11 are:

In April, the students will spend three days at the NAfME All-Eastern Conference in Rochester, N.Y. They will rehearse and perform under the direction of guest conductors from across the country. To be considered for these honor ensembles, last spring, the students auditioned and earned a place in a Maryland Music Educators Association (MMEA) All-State Ensemble. The 2023 NAfME All-Eastern Honors Ensembles will perform on April 15–16, 2023, in Rochester, N.Y.
