Emancipation Day Celebration By the Sandy Spring Slave Museum
The Sandy Spring Slave Museum is hosting a virtual Emancipation Day Celebration on Thursday, October 29th.
The event will be free to anyone who registers and will begin at 7pm.
Commemorate the final end of the triangle trade route and the abolishment of slavery.
