FeBREWary in MoCo

FeBREWary in MoCo

Here’s a list of some of the beers released this month by Montgomery County breweries.

Silver Branch – Silver Spring, MD

ALL MY GNOMIES – West Coast Saison (7.4% ABV)
Widely known to be gregarious, Gnomes are constantly gathering with friends to enjoy a beer. Recently, they determined to create a new beer perfect for these occasions. Generous quantities of fruity American hops and fruity and spicy saison yeasts bring together two favorite styles: West Coast IPAs and Saisons. Go grab a can and some friends and raise a toast to “All your Gnomies!”

METRO GNOME – Saison (7.2% ABV)
Regular as clockwork, Metro Gnome catches his train to arrive in time for Beer-Thirty! Brewed with coriander and grains of paradise to compliment the natural peppery and fruity yeast character, Metro Gnome is perfect to enjoy with your favorite meal or by itself

Waredaca – Laytonesville, MD

TOASTY PONY – Toasted Marshmallow Stout (9% ABV) – Collaboration with Out of the Jordanary *contains lactose

For this decadent pastry stout we teamed up with the best Pastry Chef we know, our very own Tasting Room Manager, Jordan Chacón. When she’s not at Waredaca, she’s baking the best cakes, pies and cookies we’ve had under her baking business, Out of the Jordanary. Jordan helped us dial in the spices to get this one just right. Real marshmallows, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey and lactose make Toasty Pony a full bodied stout with layers of marshmallow, graham cracker, and chocolate.  Savor a pint and get toasty by the fire!

True Respite  – Derwood, MD

JOY RIDE – Hazy Double India Pale Ale (8.2% ABV)
A hazy, juicy double IPA brewed with Cashmere Cryo, Centennial, Ekuanot, and Calypso hops. Brewed in honor of our Co-Founder and Head Brewer, Kenny Allen, and his prized Triumph TR6 roadster.

Astro Lab – Silver Spring, MD

ABOUT TURN – IPA (7.5% ABV)
Hopped and dry hopped with Chinook, Cascade and Mosaic initial bursts of citrus on the nose translate to bright orange, grapefruit and hints of pine on the palate. Moderate carbonation brings balance to these flavors and produces a super soft mouthfeel and clean finish.

Brookeville Beer Farm – Brookville, MD

ROSY DAWN – Cream Ale (5% ABV)
a raspberry cream ale brewed with lactose, vanilla, and raspberries.Coming soon:
SCOTTIE -Scottish Ale
brewed with heather tips and vanilla.

Lone Oak Brewery – Olney, MD

BARLEY REAPER – Hazy DIPA (8.2% ABV)

Brewed with 100% MD malt from Darkcloud Malt House.  Dry hopped with El Dorado, Amarillo, and Ekuanot.  It’s super juicy with tons of mandarin and papaya flavors.  Dangerously smooth at 8.2% ABV.
