A fire last night caused about $1 million in damages and displaced a Kensington family, who was all able to get out safely.
The blazing house fire was met by fire fighters who were able to extinguish it after arriving. One firefighter suffered minor injuries.
In addition to damage to the home, multiple vehicles were severely damaged. The fire was caused by improperly discarded smoking materials.
