First Group of MCPS Students Return to Classrooms Today, March 1st 2021
Today marks the first time Montgomery County Public School students will return to the classroom since March of last year. A small amount of students in specific special education and technical education programs are the first to come back. The rest of the students will be brought back in specific stages.
Phase 1, which begins March 15th, will include grades K-3, Alternative education programs, and some specific special education programs. Grades 4-6, as well as high school seniors, will return by April 6th.
Phase 2 includes grades 8, 9, and 11 by April 19th and grades 7 and 10 by April 26th.
