Montgomery County Council, acting as the Board of Health, will not be introducing a new Board of Health regulation to extend the indoor mask requirement and will allow the current Board of Health regulation to terminate next Monday, February 21 at 11:59pm.
The Montgomery County Board of Education is set to take up the school system’s mask policy at a meeting on February 24, according to WTOP.
Governor Larry Hogan announced Monday that the requirement for masks to be worn in Maryland state buildings will end on February 22. DC Mayor Muriel Bowser also announced that the District will eliminate their indoor mask requirement on March 1.
