Large Barn Fire in Dickerson Monday Night
A barn fire late Monday night on Peach Tree Rd in Dickerson, MD caused extensive damage upwards of $2M.
According to Montgomery County Fire & Rescue, the 500x100ft barn was a complete loss. There were no injuries and no animals were hurt. The barn was reportedly filled with mostly bales of hay, tools and other equipment.
The area did not have fire hydrants so access to water was an issue when trying to extinguish the fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is being investigated.
