Mac & Cheese Cook-Off This Saturday in Rockville

True Respite and Saints Row breweries will be holding a “Very Spooky Mac & Cheese Cook-Off” this Saturday, October 29, from 12-5pm at True Respite Brewery (7301 Calhoun Pl #600) in Rockville. The brewery will also be hosting a Fall Maker’s Market that will feature food trucks, live music and a costume contest. Six Cool Moms will be holding a Halloween Dance Party after the market from 6-9p. Full details below courtesy of True Respite on Facebook:

“On Saturday, October 29th, from 12-5 pm, True Respite & Saints Row present A Very Spooky Mac & Cheese Cook-Off!

Contestants bring their finest culinary mac & cheese creations to compete for the ultimate victory, being crowned the True Respite & Saints Row’s Very Spooky Mac & Cheese Cook-Off winner. If you’re interested in entering the competition, or if you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected].
We need plenty of judges to come vote on their favorite recipe! Being a judge is completely free and open to all. Just show up, try all of the mac & cheese, and case your vote.
This year is extra special because we’re hosting the Sixx Cool Moms for their Fall Maker’s Market during the cook-off! Local makers will be on-site selling their handmade products.
Come in costume and enter our annual costume contest! Come and join us for lots of yummy mac & cheese, costume contest, local makers, live music, and food trucks.

The 2024 Bethesda Film Fest will feature five short documentary films made by filmmakers from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Screenings will be held Friday April 5 and Saturday April 6 at Landmark Bethesda Row Cinema.
