An adult male was shot in Rockville on Tuesday evening, according to Rockville City Police.
Police officers responded to multiple calls for the sound of shots fired on the 300 block of Rutgers Street, which is located between College Pkwy and W Gude Drive off of 355.
When officers arrived they were able to locate an adult male victim who was shot. The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police remained on the scene to conduct the investigation and speak with witnesses.
Rockville City Police is asking for witnesses or anyone who may have video footage pertaining to this event to please call 240-314-8900 (callers may choose to remain anonymous.)
