Montgomery County Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at the Montgomery County Airpark on Friday, April 15, around 3:15pm.
The fire, which was electrical in nature, originated underneath/in the crawl space of a double wide trailer office, according to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer.
The building was evacuated and the incident had no effect on normal airport operations. There were no injuries reported and there is approximately $10,000 in damages.
The Montgomery County Airpark is located at 7940 Airpark Rd in Gaithersburg.
The fire also had no effect on Café Sophie, the restaurant that opened in the former Airpark Cafe space back in October.
