At approximately 1pm, units responded to a call for a kitchen fire on Crystal Hill Circle near Waters Landing Drive in Germantown. The fire was quickly extinguished and there were no injuries.

At approximately 1:45pm, units responded to a call of smoke coming from a home on Spartan Court, off of Spartan Rd., in Olney. The fire was caused by candles in the fireplace that ended up causing a light haze throughout the home and activating the fire alarm. The fire was quickly contained and extinguished and there were no injuries.

At all 2:30pm, units responded to a call on Castle Blvd near Tea Garden Circle in Burtonsville for burnt food in the oven leading to smoke in the apartment. The fire was confined to the oven and extinguished. Per Pete Piringer, “No extension, no injury, no dinner.”
