MCPS Freshman Creates Light Show and Food Drive in North Potomac

by Patrick Herron

Fourteen-year-old MCPS student Trent is debuting his 2nd annual holiday lights show and food drive tonight at his home in North Potomac.

Trent is the same Quince Orchard freshman that created a Haunted Trail back in October.

Details below courtesy of Trent’s family:

“You and your friends are invited to our 2nd annual Holiday Lights Show and food drive! The show will run from December 18-January 2 and was entirely created by Trent, our talented 9th grader. The lights show will run continuously each night from 6-9:00 pm, and features 4 newly choreographed songs that can be heard by tuning into 106.1. FM in your car. We are the last house on Damson Terrace, in North Potomac.

A collection bin will be set out nightly next to the mailbox for non-perishable and essential items for Manna Food Center (https://www.mannafood.org/give-food/most-needed-foods-list/).

Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not block driveways, and remember to turn off your headlights while enjoying the show. Thank you so much for your support, and we wish you and your families Happy Holidays!! ❤️💚🎄🎅🏼💫
