MCPS High School Football Week 4 Preview & Predictions

Gaithersburg (1-2) at BCC (0-3) – BCC will receive a forfeit victory due to an on the field altercation at Gaithersburg last week.

Richard Montgomery (1-2) at Northwest (1-2) –  Richard Montgomery will receive a forfeit victory due to an on the field altercation at Gaithersburg last week.

Urbana (3-0) at Clarksburg (0-3) The Coyotes will host Frederick Counties Urbana.. Clarksburg will have a tough task ahead of them if they wish to hand the Hawks their 1st defeat of the season.
Prediction: Urbana by 33

Northwood (0-3) at Kennedy (0-3) – The Cavaliers host the Gladiators in this DCC matchup.  Both squads have shown heart this season. It will be nice to see one earn a victory.

Prediction: Kennedy by 20

 

Magruder (1-2) at Springbrook (2-1) – The Blue Devils lost their 1st game of the season last week despite a 163 yd, 2 TD performance by QB Tommy Dietrich.The Colnels earned their 1st victory last week on the legs of RB Marcus McCritty’s 100 yd, 1 TD game.
Prediction: Springbrook by 5

Wootton (1-2) at Churchill (1-2) – Both squads earned their 1st victories of the season last week.  Bulldog QB Justin Hubl threw for 104 yds & 1TD.  He will need a similar performance to beat the Patriots.
Prediction: Chruchill by 7

Watkins Mill (0-3) at Blake (2-1) – The Bengals lost on a heartbreaking HailMary last week. RB Jerimiah Seaton ran for 166 yds & 1 TD in the loss.  Blake hopes to get back on track as they host the Wolverines.

Prediction: Blake by 30

Rockville (2-1) at Poolesville (3-0)The Falcons are flying high! RB Evan Taylor ran for 85 yds & 2 TDs last week.  They will host an underrated Rams squad this week.
Prediction: Poolesville by 4

Sherwood (2-1) at Einstein (1-2)The Warriors prayers were answered by connecting on a HailMary as time expired. QB Amari Allen threw for 208 yds & 2 TDs.  They will travel to Kensington to take on the Titans next.

Prediction: Sherwood by 35

Whitman (0-3) at Seneca Valley (3-0) – Screamin’ Eagle QB Elijah Frazier threw for 283 yds & 3 TDs last week. Expect a similar performance as Seneca hosts Whitman.
Prediction: Seneca by 36

Walter Johnson (2-1) at Wheaton (1-2) –  The Wildcats fell to Quince Orchard last week. Reid Wisniewski had 5 receptions for 31 yds in the losing effort.  WJ looks to get back on track as they travel to Wheaton.
Prediction: Walter Johnson by 32

Paint Branch (2-1) at Blair (3-0)Panther QB Travon Jackson threw for 183 yds and 2 TDs last week. Blazer QB Kendall Anderson passed for 3 TDs to keep Blair undefeated last week. These two signal callers will go head to head in a HUGE matchup at the Inferno. .
