This year’s “MCPS Business Pitch Challenge” is scheduled for March 24th from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and will be aired via MCPS Homepage, MCPS TV, and MCPS YouTube Live.
The competition was open to high school students in the Business Management and Finance Program of Study, but all are encouraged to tune in and watch the innovative and creative skills of these students.
It’s a Shark-Tank like event, where students will present their business ideas for a solution to an existing problem, improvement of an existing product, or create a need for a product/service.
This year’s team of competitors will be representing a variety of MCPS high schools.
Representatives from the MCPS Business, Management and Finance Program Advisory Committee will be present and serve as judges, mentors, or supporters.
Established entrepreneurs will bring greetings and words of inspiration and encouragement to student entrepreneurs.
