MCPS Ranks 45th On Forbes’ List Of ‘America’s Best Employers’

Michelin, Trader Joe’s, and Google make-up the top 3 of Forbes’ list of ‘America’s Best Employers.’

You’ll find familiar companies like Costco (#5), Wegmans (#8), MasterCard (#20), sprawled across the top 20, but coming in at #45 is our very own Montgomery County Public Schools.

The description reads: “Montgomery County Public Schools is the largest school system in Maryland and the 17th largest in the U.S., with an enrollment of 156,000 students in 202 schools. Those students come from 157 countries and speak 138 languages. The system has an annual budget of $2.39 billion. Montgomery County, north of Washington, D.C., includes the cities of Rockville, Bethesda, Gaithersburg, and Silver Spring.”

Nearby Howard County Public Schools was the first public school system on the list, coming in at #29.
