We stopped by Mahshad Modern Persian Kitchen, a new restaurant that opened this past June in King Farm, to pick up some dinner.
The restaurant describes itself as having a “new version” of Persian cuisine and offers local, organic food for everyone.
They offer specialty bowls, in a Chipotle-style assembly line format, that “take the best traditions of Persian ancient recipes into modern and healthy recipes.”
Menu items include filet mignon, ground beef kabob (kubideh), chicken filet, veggie kabob, vegan kubideh, lamb chops, salmon filet, beef filet, basmati rice, green frittata, eggplant caviar, hummus, cucumber yogurt, soups, salads, and more (full menu available here).
Pictured below you’ll see:
• Lamb chops, half rice/half salad
• Salmon filet, half rice/half salad
• Avocado falafel
Mahshad has taken over the old Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid center at 404 King Farm Blvd in Rockville.
They are open from 12pm-8pm daily.
