MoCo Tip Challenge Raises $10,000 for Struggling Restaurant Workers
The Moco Tip Challenge Facebook group was created by two Gaithersburg friends to help Montgomery County restaurant employees during the pandemic.
Last month we told you about how the group surprises Montgomery County restaurant workers that have been nominated on the group’s page with $500 cash.To date they have gifted 19 different area workers. The group has enough for their 20th, but are still looking to raise funds for eight remaining names from their original nominee list.
The group has been featured on FOX 5 and is even followed online by Donnie Wahlberg:
