MoCo’s Second Checkers Getting Closer

Last September we told you about a plan that was submitted to convert 8019 Snouffer School Rd. to a new Checker’s location.

​The bank that was previously in that location has now been torn down, but construction has not yet begun on the new Checkers restaurant.

This location will have a drive-thru and many of the design features found at a typical Checkers restaurant, but will also provide outdoor seating and amenities that would make it a destination dining location.

I would expect this Checkers to be ready by mid-2020. This would be the second Checkers location in MoCo (the first location is also in Gaithersburg, on Shady Grove Rd).
