Montgomery County Reopens Completely This Friday

Montgomery County Reopens Completely This Friday

Per Montgomery County:

The expanded reopenings are described in the Board of Health Regulation. They are automatically triggered when the Montgomery County Health Officer reports that the vaccination benchmarks have been reached to the Board of Health.

See Vaccination Distribution Dashboard.

If the Montgomery County health officer finds that after reviewing community transmission metrics that continued reopening phases would be contrary to the public health, the health officer must report those concerns to the Board of Health and the continuation to the next phase must be suspended pending a hearing before the Board of Health.

  2. It’s not a complete reopening until the schools are open for all children 5 days a week. Right now it’s four days and every other week.

When will Montgomery College have in-petson classes?

  6. It would be wonderful if the BGC SENIOR CENTER would be allowed to follow these guidelines .

  7. What is the science or reason behind health care, schools, and public government buildings to make a mask mandatory or to require students to get the vaccine if they still have to wear a mask?
Also why are Montgomery county business allow to make their employees wear a mask, but make it optional for clients?? Is that because business only care about money and they don’t care about their employees rights? Isn’t Montgomery county suppose to protect everyone’s rights?
