More Upgrades for Rio!

by MCS Staff

Work is about to get underway on Rio’s Phase II of renovations.

The second phase features more enhancements along Rio’s lakefront – a new floating barge stage, generous amphitheater-style seating, a cozy fire pit lounge and an expansive and inclusive playground.

True Food Kitchen, featuring healthy, chef-driven, seasonal food & drinks, will be opening in the old Joe’s Crab Shack location later in 2020.

But are they doing anything about the horrid parking garage? I never go there because of it.

How about a doggie park and pet store?

Glad they are going to create amphitheatre style seating. The new stage is great but the new seating with the stacked blocks is horrible. I liked bringing the chairs before but now no room for that.

PLEASE gate around the new playground! And make it shady!

There are SO few playgrounds/parks in the area without shade and it’s NEEDED, ESPECIALLY in the gross hot summer months
