News From The Last Week of 2018

Happy New Year! After a week off to close the year, here’s a quick version of some news across MoCo in the final week of 2018!

American Tap Room in Bethesda has closed permanently (their Rockville location closed in late 2016). Robert Dyer speculates that Matchbox could be the next tenant.

Burger King has closed permanently in Damascus. An auto parts store is rumored to take over.

Jimmy John’s has closed permanently in North Bethesda (North Bethesda Market). Two MoCo locations remain (Gaithersburg and Silver Spring).

MORE coffee in Bethesda as Ceremony Coffee Roasters is coming soon to 7475 Wisconsin Ave.

A Germantown man has been charged with the theft of multiple packages from the front porches of Germantown homes.

Bethesda Bagels will open their second MoCo location (fifth overall) at Wildwood Shopping Center next to CVS. It’s expected to open in the summer of 2019.
