The Gaithersburg Department of Public Works has announced that road construction will be conducted on Tschiffely Square Road. The work is anticipated to begin on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, and will continue through the end of May, weather permitting. Work will consist of asphalt milling, utility lid adjustments, resurfacing, and striping.
Access to and from all residences and businesses will be available at all times, although minor delays can be expected at various times while work is in progress. Sections of Tschiffely Square Road will be closed and traffic diverted onto the opposing side of the roadway with flagging operation taking place. Traffic may be held or delayed during this process.
On-street parking will be restricted at various times. “No Parking” signs will be posted at least 48 hours in advance of construction activity. These signs will be marked with the dates & times of the parking restrictions.
