With November signaling the start of “soup season” in the area, Eater DC had released its list of “Must-Try Soups Around DC” with one Montgomery County restaurant/soup making the list– the warm vichyssoise soup at Joy by Seven Reasons in Chevy Chase.
The soup goes for $15 and is available on the dinner menu. Per Eater, “Chef Enrique Limardo’s playful Seven Reasons spinoff opened last month in Chevy Chase with a warm vichyssoise soup (potato, cauliflower-leeks, chile guajillo oil, sea bean, and rosemary oil).”
Joy by Seven Reasons opened for business in October and is currently open seven days a week. Monday through Thursday from 5pm-9pm for dinner service only, Friday from 5pm until 10pm for dinner service only, Saturday from 10am-1:30pm for brunch and 5pm until 10pm for dinner service, and Sunday from 10am-1:30pm for brunch and 5pm until 9pm for dinner service. The brunch, dinner, beverage, kids, and dessert menus can be seen here.
