Pedestrian Struck and Killed on University Blvd West in Wheaton
An adult male pedestrian was struck and killed early this morning on University Blvd. West near Georgia Avenue in Wheaton. Montgomery County Police report they received the 911 call around 3:58AM Tuesday.
Southbound lanes of Georgia Avenue and the Eastbound lanes of University Blvd. West were closed while the Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit was on scene.
Lanes have since reopened; however, the investigation’s full report will take weeks to complete.
