Poki DC Soft Opening in Georgetown Square (Bethesda) Friday, 2/15

Poke is the Hawaiian word that means “to cut” or “to slice”, usually referring to chunks of raw, marinated fish (but can also include other forms of protein). It’s then tossed over rice and topped with vegetables and different types of sauces.

Poki DC will have their soft opening at Georgetown Square in Bethesda (10400 Old Georgetown Rd., next to Not Your Average Joe’s) this Friday, 2/15, according to their recent Facebook post.

This location will also offer Gongcha Bobatea!

You order using a “base, protein, mix-ins, sauces, toppings” format.

Bases include:
• Combo (mix of two bases)
• Mixed greens
• Rice (brown w/ quinoa and white)
• Zucchini noodles

Proteins include:
• Ahi tuna (plain, marinated, and spicy)
• Chicken
• Salmon (plain and marinated)
• Shrimp
• Tofu
• Yellowtail (plain and marinated)

Mix-ins include:
• Avocado
• Cilantro

• Cucumber
• Edamame
• Ginger
• Hijiki Seaweed
• Jalapeño
• Kale
• Mango
• Masago
