On February 9, at approximately 3:30 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 6900 block of New Hampshire Avenue for the report of an armed robbery. The victim was waiting at the bus stop when he was approached by two unknown suspects who demanded property while brandishing a handgun. The victim complied and the suspects left the area on foot. The victim was not seriously physically injured during the armed robbery.
According to Takoma Park Police, the suspects are described as (1) Black male, approximately 6’0, skinny, last seen wearing all black with a black ski mask and (2) Black male, approximately 5’8, skinny, last seen wearing a green shirt and black pants. Lookout information was provided to all surrounding jurisdictions. Investigators are asking that anyone with information about this incident, or knows the identities of the suspects, please contact the Takoma Park Police Department at 301-270-1100 and refer to case #230005483.
